Perfume New Single "Spring of Life"

A vigorous electropop group Perfume. who has transfered to Universal Music Japan in February 2012 to start working overseas, brings new single on April 11, 2012!

"Spring of Life" is a tie-up song with KIRIN's Can Chuhai (an alcoholic beverage) "Hyoketsu," and Perfume also appears in its TV spot. The song is a danceable song with futuristic beats produced by Yasutaka Nakata of capsule as heretofore!

Perfume releases short PV for “Spring of Life”

Perfume has revealed the short PV for their upcoming single, “Spring of Life“, through their official YouTube channel!

The PV has the concept of ‘android Perfume’, and it was said to have been filmed over a period of 28 hours. It tells a painful story of androids who gain emotions and wish to become humans one day.

“Spring of Life” will be released on April 11th.

Arashi to release a new single & live DVD in May!

It was announced that Arashi’s 38th single titled “Face Down” is scheduled to be released on May 9th! Reportedly, the new single expresses the agony of facing your “other self inside of you” with the theme of “Who you really are?“, and there will be two different editions for the single.

Not only the single, but Arashi will also be releasing their live DVD “ARASHI LIVE TOUR Beautiful World” on May 23rd. The DVD contains footage recorded from Arashi’s live concert at the National Olympic Stadium which was held on September 3rd last year with 70,000 fans in a storm. As with the new single, the live DVD will also come in two different editions.

Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 Announces 10th Single

Popular idol group AKB48's sub-unit Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 has announced their 10th Single, titled "Shounen yo Uso wo Tsuke!". This will be the 1st single for its new member Urano Kazumi, who just joined the group after graduating from SDN48. She is the replacement of Natsumi Hirajima, who had just left both AKB48 and Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 not too long ago.

Arashi and NMB48 Face-Off on May 9th

NMB48, the youngest sub-unit of AKB48, have managed to rank first in Oricon music first week sales for three consecutive times since their record debut. However, NMB48's quest for four consecutive number 1 single might be put on hold with Johnny's Entertainment Arashi announcing the release of their "Face Down" single on May 9th.
